A guy who is a member here, met her in a taxi. He began to ask her questions: what her
name was, what her age was, what church she went to. She was like "gosh
who are you and why are you asking all these personal questions." He went on to invite her to church. Once at her home, she got out of the taxi.
Since he saw her house, the next Sunday he picked her up and brought her to church. The missionaries started
teaching her, got her interviewed for baptism. That first date failed as she got sick. Elder Schmeltzer continued to teach her, re-interviewed her and then baptized
her.
Lizzy lives with her grandmother who is blind from glaucoma and very old. Pictured is Elder Schmeltzer's new companion.
Congratulations! That is really exciting!
