As you make preparations to enter the mission field, please spend time each week working with the full-time missionaries in your area. Also make a special effort to pray both morning and evening, to study the scriptures daily, and to read from Preach My Gospel. Focus specifically on the stories and revelations about missionary work contained in the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the New Testament. Learn to listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost as you study and pray and then write down what you learn in a study journal.
